My husband, Ted (TED O SR) and I met at a polka dance over 45 years ago. We continued in the polka tradition by opening a Polish restaurant and lounge (THE OMEN - it's named for the 'O' men!) on the Southwest side of Chicago in the early 70s. Then we put our Polish heritage to work and formed our first polka band (WINDY CITY BRASS) in the 80s. We currently perform polka, modern and oldies music with our band, The Next Step (THE NEXT STEP) (SCHEDULE). Our music has taken us to many places throughout the United States - where we meet and greet lots of wonderful polka lovers. So come out and join us for some hopping good music!
