Golec uOrkiestra is a Polish folk-rock group, founded in 1998 in southern village of Milówka near Zywiec by two brothers - Pawel and Lukasz Golec, after whom it is named. First lineup consisted of eight musicians, and the band performed mostly during holidays, also in local clubs. In 1999, two more musicians were added, and in March of that year, the first album was recorded in a studio in Bielsko-Biala. This double CD album was issued on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the band Golec uOrkiestra. The magnificently designed album features 26 of the iconic band's songs in new refreshed versions. In addition, many of the songs have never been released on CD until now.
