This album contains music that Poles brought with them to this country from Galicia, Austrian Poland, in the 1910s and 1920s. The Krakow region was rich with folk music and most of these melodies originated there. Among the dances are the Krakowiak, Oberek, Sztajerek, Kujawiak, Mazur, Waltz and Polka.
