This book contains pictures of over 600 items from a collection of labels and placards produced in Poland between 1913 and 1924. This was a critical period in Polish history that includes World War I; the Versailles Peace Conference; reestablishment of the Polish state; plebiscite and armed conflict; and the war with the Soviet Union. These labels were produced as mementos or receipts for solicited donations. All labels and placards referenced are from the author's collection. The collection is displayed either historically or by type. The 23 chapters are listed below and many have introductions that provide background historical information on the period. Chapters: 1.
