Pictured is a reproduction of an antique Polish holy card (c. 1920s).  It was given to Stella Dernoga by one of her favorite elementary school teachers, Sister Kinga, a Felician nun at the old Holy Rosary parish school in Baltimore, Maryland.

Pictured is a reproduction of an antique Polish holy card (c. 1920s).  It was given to Stella Dernoga by one of her favorite elementary school teachers, Sister Kinga, a Felician nun at the old Holy Rosary parish school in Baltimore, Maryland.  "Gloria in Excelsis Deo" is Latin for " Glory to God in the Highest".  The Polish Verse on the card translates:
Dearest Mother [of God]
Chosen from all,
You hold out Jesus,
Presenting him to the world.
