This album combines the very best of "A Very Merry Christmas", which has not been available since 1964 with 6 new recordings, all remastered for the best sounding holiday spirit. From the spiritual Christmas classics to playful holiday polkas, this collection has something for everyone including Santa Must Be Polish and a stanza of Silent Night in Polish (Cicha Noc).
Bobby Vinton was born in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania, on April 16th, and following in his dad's footsteps, he formed his own band while still in high school. Later he took his band on the road professionally as the backup band for Dick Clark's "Caravan of Stars" in 1960. Two years later, Bobby went solo as a vocalist, and signed a long-term recording contract. That same year he hit the best-selling recording charts at #1 with "Roses Are Red," and as the story goes, "the rest is history!"
Bobby went on to star in this own television series from 1975-1978, and 43 best-selling singles and an incredible 25 best-selling albums later, he is still going strong starring on the concert stage, nightclubs and television around the world. Selections:
